I believe that people are people and what brings us together are values and ethics. The difference between the generations more than anything is communication style and information gathering. Whereas boomers and x'ers are more inclined to get information from newspapers and television, millenials are more likely to get information on-line and through social networking.

Millennials are seeking more "life experiences" rather than increased salaries alone. They want cross-departmental opportunities. Companies like PWC are doing interesting things in global exchange programs for talent.

From what I've noticed with my peers, millennials are hard workers, but we also really appreciate a work/life balance. Also, we are more tech-savvy than previous generations. We grew up with computers, so we are very comfortable using networking sites, instant messaging, and other Web 2.0 applications.
