How participatory should line managers be in the onboarding of new hires (the first few days on-site)? ?

    The more involvement the better. Remember that important comment that new employees join companies but they leave managers. The more involved the manager is from the start the better. Remember on the first day every new employee is going to be asked by someone if they like their new job. The answer to this question needs to be it was terrifvic

    In my opinion and personal experience, line managers should definitely be part of the onboarding process from day one. When an employee is given the proper tools and resources from the start, performance will increase. It is important to develop the relationships between the employee and line managers so that a certain level of trust is created.
